Monsters of South America: El Cuero!

Cuero_0002.jpg

El Cuero’s name roughly translates to “cow hide”, and its flat, hairy body definitely resembles a cow hide splayed out to dry. It has eyes on two reddish long stalks, and its bloodsucking mouth is underneath its body in the center. It is an aquatic creature, inhabiting lakes, and very dangerous.

Chances are it is actually an interpretation of a freshwater stingray.
